Our Process

envision
We're going to be together for a while, so let's get to know each other. We want you to trust us and feel confident that your project is our No. 1 priority.

Our first visit will involve listening intently to your vision for your home. That way we can work with you to design plans that capture your dreams and work within your budget.

design
Once we are in agreement on the vision and you have chosen us to bring your project to life, we enter a Design Agreement. From here, we move forward with preliminary plans for your project and generate initial budget projections. Your choices at this stage generate a more realistic budget and help avoid "surprises" later on. Developing the plans may take several versions before a single, final plan is determined. Once you have made all your selections and agreed on the budget, we can enter into a Construction Agreement.

With all the details in place, the final step is construction. The excitement level is high at this point. It can also be the most stressful time for you. Our primary mission at this time is to ease any stress by creating accurate work schedules, attending to every situation, and communicating with you throughout the process.

Testimonials

  • Bill and Mary Lou Bleakley, Arnold, Maryland

First project: Addition of 400 + addition, sunroom, sitting room, and full bathroom to a ramble style home.

    Second project: Update kitchen.

    Third project: Rework roof system

    Fourth project: Bathroom update

My wife and I first engaged Villa Builders in 1999 and have used them ever since for any and all remodeling projects since then.

In 1999/2000 we put on a 400+ square foot addition to our home which included a sun room, a sitting room, and a full bath. Since then we have modernized two bathrooms and did a major rework of  poorly designed mid 1960's roof system.

When we did the first project we hired an architect, who recommended Villa Builders.  The best advice we got from the architect was, "The success of any project depends on a three party cooperative, the architect, the builder, and the home owner, who all work as a team to see the successful completion of the project."

Villa Builders understands the meaning of teamwork.

We have been completely satisfied and we highly recommend them and the subcontractors that they employ.
