Robyn Cincinnati & Greg Moore: Some Things Are Worth the Wait

After seven years of living with the basement of their Pasadena, MD. home a construction zone, Robyn Cincinnati and Greg Moore decided it was time to hire a remodeler to complete the home improvement project they had been doing themselves for nearly a decade. It wasn't that they couldn't do the work themselves. It was more that life was just getting in the way. From work to children's soccer games, there were just too many distractions. So the couple decided to visit the Annapolis Home Show and talk with prospective remodelers. (to read more and see pictures of this project click here.)
Bert Shelby & Liz Wozniak: Defying Stereotypes
Many people shop for a remodeler the way they shop for a car—they research the make and model, compare and negotiate prices, kick the tires and take a test drive before they buy. Even then they may be skeptical about what they are getting into.
Bert Shelby and Liz Wozniak were no different when it came to choosing a remodeler to work on their home. The couple’s plans were extensive and included a kitchen remodel with an addition, a new powder room, a deck remodel and the addition of two porches. They had spent a year working with an architect to develop the plans, but soon discovered that building them as designed was beyond their budget. Moving into the construction phase for them, meant closing the gap between the plans and the resources they had to devote to the project. Working with a design-build remodeler was the perfect solution for them. Nevertheless, they started the process with some trepidation. (to read more and see photos of this project, click here .)
The Villa Experience—Worth Repeating

Kathy Albers of Severna Park knew exactly who to call when she decided to remodel her kitchen last fall—Villa Builders.
A few years earlier, Kathy’s ex-husband hired Villa to remodel several rooms in their home based on plans he had drawn. Although this was the first time Villa had worked on the house, her ex had worked with Villa before on joint projects for others. This first project involved remodeling a guest room, a children’s room and the master bathroom. “The master bath was one of my absolute favorites,” Kathy claimed. Mostly, she remembered that “Jeff and his team were very nice to work with. They were very well organized and cleaned up after themselves.” (To read more and see photos of this project, click here.)
"Almost like family..."
After ten years, three remodeling projects and an assortment of miscellaneous fix-it jobs, it’s no wonder Ray and Jan Christensen think of Jeff and Joanne Hall of Villa Builders as part of the family.
When the Halls came into their lives, the Christensens had already added a front porch, had it covered and completed a full kitchen remodel on their 1980s Arnold home. “The people who did the kitchen did a beautiful job, but they weren’t reliable, didn’t always show up as stated, and didn’t call,” said Jan. “We never had that problem with Villa Builders. If they said they would be there, they were there.” (To read more and see photos of this project, click here.)
From Clutter Central to Amazing
“I can’t believe this is the same house just because of the way it flows,” said Nancy Crim, who completed her kitchen remodel on April 11, 2008. After 10 years of living in their Eastern Shore home, Nancy decided to remodel the heart of the home—the kitchen/great room—to create a more livable and workable area. Her husband suggested they move; but Nancy loved their home’s location on a quiet island surrounded by three acres of land, in close proximity to her work and her 14-year-old triplets’ school.
