Hall Bath Re-Dress!

 Before

A repeat customer of Villa's contacted us to enlist our help with replacing a vanity top, installing a recessed medicine cabinet, and relocating and installing new surface mounted lighting for a hall bathroom. The goal is to dress up the space by replacing some of its worn and dated components.

She is interested in getting a Cambria Natural Quartz top. Her award winning kitchen features a Cambria countertop and having enjoyed the beauty and the ease of maintenance with this product, she would like to have it in her hall bath.

Last week, I was at Cambria's website and read about a new color tool they are offering. Cambria and Benjamin Moore have put together countertop and coordinating paint color selections. Click here to get started and check out their color combination suggestions. I think homeowners often find it enjoyable to look at design and color ideas in their own time and space--and using the web can be a good resource to get the ideas flowing. So, I thought I would share this with you.

Now, back to the bath. Several years ago, Villa installed a new soaking tub with a white 3x6 subway tile surround. This still looks fabulous, including the grout. Ideally, she would like to re-use her existing sinks and faucets--they are in terrific shape. The existing white vanity, which is also in great shape, compliments the tub and tile surround, and the tile flooring. The reason she wants to change the existing 80's medicine cabinet to a recessed version is to visually enlarge the bath a bit, and update its look.

Stay tuned,
Joanne
